The campus series of love stories review

The Campus series of love stories is a story whose main characters are two university students, Himnaya Mtotegemewa (Hymn) and Princess Latifa (Princess). The story begins with this two characters meeting after they join university in first year. Princess is a lady from a very able background, a king’s daughter if we would go by her name. Hymn is an ordinary young man from the village who is among those stragglers who have come from the root ends of the village to at least get some education for his future success. So when this two meet, they are strangers at the first place and differing classes at the same time as it was crystal clear through the looks. Hymn approaches Princess with compliments and she lushes at him fiercely. Princess undermines Hymn up-to a point that she thinks he is not worthy a thing. Hymn doesn’t give up on Princess even after the violence towards him and bearing in mind that he was just some local boy from the village who didn’t even know what living in the city was. Princess uses pure English which suggest to Hymn that maybe at some point studied abroad. From the duo’s conversation, we learn that Princess is daughter to some prominent personnel in Rwanda, the former internal security minister who is the current minister for finance.

Hymn’s confidence and persistence however attracts Princess and she is slowly giving in on stuff that she had at the first time remained secure about. Hymn’s confidence even changes Princess’ perception on him. The duo converses for a very long period of time. They are meeting for the first time but now talking like they were some old friends who had long seen each other. Their conversation goes on into Princess’ car where they end up romancing and doing some crazy stuff. The duo finally leaves the university grounds and Princess offers to drop Hymn at his sister’s place.

Princess and Hymn part ways for that night but keep closely in touch over the phone. They flirt all night and even plan for some date the following day.
They meet up the following day and drive out of town, to Ngon’g hills, in Princess’ car where they have nice time for the rest of the day. They drive to some hotel in town in the evening as they are returning home. Some criminal activity is going down in the hotel and several police officers are deployed, most of them from the Special Forces. Hymn saves the day by countering a criminal, who had warned of shooting everyone in the room, had the police not let him go. Hymn tactfully and successfully counters this criminal and it is to everyone’s relieve. On their way out, he is given an honorary salute by the Special Forces for his bravery.
They later drive to Hymn’s place and it is already late. Princess meets Judith, Hymn’s sister who is a primary teacher as well. They become good friends and their conversation flows.
Princess is however forced to sleep at Judith’s place because it was already late and not right for someone to travel all alone. The city is insecure.
What happens afterwards, after Princess agrees to sleep at Hymn’s place is in our next episode of this story, episode 27.
And it is my hope that you are all enjoying this story so far.
