More than 55 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza- Israeli border. The Palestinians were protesting against the opening ceremony of the new US embassy in Jerusalem. Among the wounded were young women, children and journalists.
The Israeli army took no chances as they fired live ammunition and tear gas to the protestors who expressed their anger saying that they would not stop the protests until their rights are recognized.
However, the move has not been recognized by the international community as France’s Foreign Minister Jean Yves le Drian said that the embassy move was in violation of international law and particularly the United Nations security council resolutions.
Reports also say that since the protests started on March 30, Israeli forces have killed more than 80 Palestinians.
Thousands of people however have converged in Turkey’s largest City, Instanbul to protest against Trump’s decision to relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
