Jadon Sancho criticized for dining on $240 gold-plated steak

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has been criticized by the German media early this week for posts on his Instagram where he showcased his holiday in Dubai. The English star was seen dining on a golden steak at Nusr-Et Steakhouse, a restaurant made famous by Nusret Gokce also known as Salt Bae.

Nusret Gokçe is a Turkish butcher, chef, and restaurateur, who owns Nusr-Et, a chain of steak houses. His technique for preparing and seasoning meat became an Internet meme that attracted many including famous footballers like Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. His sophisticated technique of cutting meat and sprinkling salt is undoubtedly interesting as it has attracted millions of views online.

The trademark dish has however been termed as indigestible to the public, since it has left the jaws of many dropped wondering how it could cost $240.

This was the reaction from the public.

richardahaynesI’m gonna go ahead and say that those that go to those restaurants dont give a flying crap about the environment, the hoax that is “man made climate change” or anything of any actual value.

carlos.osorio.7330763Ridiculous, the planet is burning and people are paying those crazy prices for a piece of dead cow. Great way to waste your money.’

icreatedbaconYour scam on the gold steaks is about to send you to prison in Florida. Not 24k and sending gold steaks to people who order the normal one is felony fraud at then prices you charge.

The Bild, a German paper went further to say that the teenager had ruined his reputation.
